The County Noxious Weed Department is responsible for the control and eradication of noxious weeds on all rural property within Grant County as required by state law K.S.A. 2-1318. The control and eradication assistance may be by recommended procedures or by the sale of recommended herbicides.
The County Noxious Weed is in the building behind the Road and Bridge Department. In an effort to serve the public efficiently, one-person shares the responsibility of being secretary for Noxious Weed and Road and Bridge making a unique and workable relationship between the two departments.
Cost Share for Noxious Weed Control
The County will cost share 25% of approved chemicals for noxious weed control.
