The Grant County website is being updated.  The LEPC minutes have been put into the archives and the Emergency Management website has been updated.

Sirens were discussed.  The Sirens are an outdoor warning system.  When the sirens are set off and/or we are put in a tornado warning, the community needs to listen to the NOAA radio or local radio or watch the local television stations.  They will tell what time the warning starts and stops, and you should take cover and stay in your safe place until the warning time is over.  If it is extended they will let you know. Not all sirens have battery backup systems.  If the power goes off some of the sirens will not work.

Next meeting date is July 16 at the Grant County Courthouse.

Jerry Jo Deckert made a motion to adjourn.  John seconded.  Motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:04 PM.
