The meeting was held at 1:00 p.m. in the Pioneer Communications conference room. Gene Pflughoft, Grant County Economic Development Director, also attended the meeting.

Those attending from the other counties were: Dave Bozone and Gary Baker, Stevens County Commissioners; Bob Boaldin, Ron DeGarmo, and Allen Tucker, Morton County Commissioners, and Vienna Lee, Morton County Economic Development Director; and Karla Dimitt, Stanton County Economic Development Director.

A business development group from outside the state gave a presentation on high density short rotation trees and the ancillary businesses derived from them. Those presenting were: Bob Leeson, Advisor to the Group; Richard Rinders, Mr. Leeson’s assistant; Tony Green, Ray Allen’s assistant; Larry Eastlund, President and CEO of the group; Craig Wilson, Vice-President; and Juavier Gonzales, Ironstone Consulting of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
