Local Emergency Planning Committee

            Meeting was called to order with 14 present at 7:00 PM in the Training Room of the Grant County Courthouse. 

            Don handed out information about the 2004 Grant money.   The group looked at the information and discussed how the money could be best utilized.   The Department head will meet later to make a final decision.

            Richard Everett informed the committee about a “Forensic Epidemiology” Class to be held in Hugoton on July 13, 2004. 

            Don invited anyone that was interested to a Mass Fatalities – Incident Response Course in Hutchinson June 8^th thru 10^th.

            We have the computer and the software for GIS.  The people who are helping get this project off the ground will be here in the next two weeks to get started.  Don is going to visit with industries to help with information and see if they want to be involved with the county GIS.  One industry contacted the county to state they would like to be involved.

            Vivian was gone to Topeka for the WMD CAMEO – Train – the- Trainer class.
