The Grant County Health Department started out in the basement of the County Courthouse with one RN on staff. Since then has grown to a new building, an administrator, 4 administrative staff members, 2 full time RN’s, and 2 part time RN’s.  Changing with the times services have increased to provide the following:

Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Treatment and Control

Aids Testing and Counseling

Pap Smears and Breast Exams

Blood Pressure Screening and Counseling

Blood Sugar Screening and Diabetes Counseling

Hemoglobin Screening and Counseling

Cholesterol Screening and Counseling

Pregnancy Tests and Counseling

Urinalysis Testing

Immunizations (Children & Adults)

Healthy Start Home Visitor Program

Child Care Licensing and Registration Program

Injections (hormone, allergy, rabies, etc)

Communicable Disease Prevention and Control (head lice, T.B., etc.)

Office Visits and Exams (limited)

Kan-Be-Healthy Physicals (SRS clients only)

Newborn Home Visits

County Employee Physicals and Hepatitis B Program

Car Seat Loaner Program
