The Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 9:00 a.m. at the Western Prairie Care Home with all members and the county clerk present. The meeting was called to tour the old care home building with the auctioneer and care home personnel to determine what items would be put in the auction.

 

Pam Gindlesberger, Care Home Board Member, Billie Upshaw, Administrator, Deanna Hull, Assistant, Steve Stein, Maintenance, and Steve Higgs, Auctioneer, attended this meeting.

 

                The decision was made to leave all doors and cabinets that are attached to the walls in the building for salvage. Heating and air conditioning units will also stay with the building.

 

                The commissioners made the decision that the following items will be sold at the auction:  Generator, garage door on the covered access, storage shed, stainless steel sink and cabinets in the kitchen, and the outside lampposts.

 

                The commissioners adjourned to meet again in regular session on May 5, 2009.
