The Board of County Commissioners met in special session at 9:00 a.m. with all members and the county clerk present.  The meeting was called for the purpose of reviewing 2003 budget requests and review computer quotes for the county attorney’s office.

 

            Steve Rice, Hay, Rice and Associates, attended the meeting to help establish the estimated mill levy for the county based on budget requests.

 

            The budget hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 20, 2002.

 

            Carl Higgs made the motion to approve the low bid of $1,062 for a Gateway 500SE computer for the county attorney’s office.  Gene Schwein seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

 

            The commissioners adjourned to meet again in regular session on August 6, 2002.
