About the Auditorium

Walker Auditorium measures 120 feet by 175 feet, totaling 21,000 square feet of space.

  • You can seat 2,500 in chairs or 1,800 seated at tables.
  • The stage, located on the north end of the auditorium, measures 40 feet by 18 feet by four feet.
  • This room's rental rates vary by event and there are numerous optional amenities to choose from.

Sons of Thunder Valentine Meeting

Walker Auditorium is perfect for any type of celebration. Any color scheme or style will work easily in this area. There is plenty of room for a reception line, buffet line and still have plenty of space to kick up your heels on the dance floor. This set up was for our local Sons of Thunder Valentine Meeting in February.

Quinceneara

Walker Auditorium books several years in advance for local quinceaneras. We are currently starting to book into 2015 and 2016, so don't wait too long to call us for your daughter's special day.

Funeral set up

The auditorium is very diverse and can be set up for any type of event. With our new chairs and burgundy curtain dividers, the entire space can be used or any section can be partitioned off.

Ag safety day shot

Everyone in agriculture knows someone whose life has been affected by a farm related injury or death. The Progressive Agriculture Safety Day Program is a one-day, hands-on workshop that teaches children and their parents how to stay safe and healthy on the farm, ranch or at home. The Stanton County and Grant County NRCS offices hosted the 2012 Progressive Agriculture Safety Day Program on Thursday, September 20.

Home products dinner

The annual Home Products Dinner is host to approximately 2,000 dignitaries and guests from near and far. The menu includes only items produced in Grant County, from the beef to the jam.

Grant County Fair Booths

Over 40 vendors set up at the annul Grant County Fair. You can shop for handcrafted gifts, food, toys, jewelry, and accessories to name a few. There is something for everyone.

All school reunion

Walker Auditorium is frequently reserved for special events like the Ulysses All School Reunion. Several annual craft shows and bazaars also utilize this facility
